The Stella Artois Airship offers tours of London photo

London Borough to Reverses Free Parking for EVs

Today saw the announcement of changes in the City of London's parking concessions for electric vehicles. Existing users of the borough's electric vehicle scheme will see an increase in on-street parking from zero to £50 per year wh...

Swishing, the new clothing swap trend image

Face it: you love that chorus of "Oh that is so darling! Where did you get it?" But if you want to live the eco-chic lifestyle, consumerism is out. What to do? Start swapping instead of shopping with a new trend called Swishing.

Why "Swishing?" The dictionary definition: To rustle, as silk.
Swishing has been redefined by London's Futerra Sustainability Communications. Swishing: To rustle clothes from friends. ...

Alex from Hide and Seek would like me to tell you about his festival for "social games and playful experiences" which opens tomorrow. It's not your average festival, but then Alex isn't your average man. A bunch of us are hitting the "This is it ..." event and party tomorrow night, so if your lucky enough to have a ticket, see you there.

I missed Tim Sheridan's recent Irish visit, unfortunately. And I'm not going to make this little bash he's involved in either. In fact I've never heard him DJ. So won't someone please tip along tomorrow night and have a beer for me? Cheers...

So the past few weeks have been all about Radiohead - whether its their its their decision to go it alone and leave EMI behind or EMI's one-two punch back at them with the awesomely desireable but maybe not so useful back catalogue to be released on USB drives - Radiohead are everywhere and the label is pissed (except for XL that is).

With the nation going World Cup mad, not even the Dragon Bar's Tuesday night exhibitions are safe from the madness!

One of my favourite artists of the moment is having a show at The Dragon Bar's This Way Up gallery next Wednesday, thats WEDNESDAY and not the usual Tuesdays.

Stephan Doitschinoff aka Calma will be exhibiting some of his new work at the bar and what with a brazillian match on the 13th... he will have his opening the following day on the 14th at 7pm.
