This is the office of Nonsense, an advertising agency based in Soho, that's Robbie waving. On Monday I needed a desk to work from so I went to FlamingDesks.com. Flaming Desks is something that Nonsense has set up. Basically anyone with a spare desk (in their office) registers and announces that they have a spare desk, then people who need a desk can find one... and use it. The site is still in Alpha stages, but it works pretty nicely.

I looked at Soho and there were a few places with desks so I picked one which happened to be the Nonsense office. The chair in the middle of the picture was mine for the day and all for the price of a packet of rich tea biscuits. There are resources everywhere going begging, we should be sharing more of these simply because we can. Nice work guys.

If you have a spare desk gathering dust you should fill it with an interesting person who needs it. Not saying I was intertesting but I did need the desk.
