Wooster Special Edition: Alexandre Orion Book and Hand Cut Art

We're proud to announce that the Brazilian artist Alexandre Orion is the latest artist to participate in our "Wooster Special Edition" project. Alexandre follows sold out editions from such artists as Faile, Shepard Fairey, Space Invader, BAST, and Darius and Downey.
This new "Special Edition" combines Orion's wonderful book Metabiotica (which has not, until now been distributed outside of Brazil) with a one of a kind hand-cut stencil that is in itself a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

The Cheetah In The Garden

A terrific little story sent to us by Jody in London:
"A few weeks ago I went to the Cans Festival in London, I took a few pictures and put them on Flickr, including some work by Minneapolis graff artist, Broken Crow.
A day or so later, Broken Crow added some of my photos to his Flickr favorites, so I dropped him a Flickrmail, telling him how much I enjoyed the show and jokingly suggested that if he's ever in London again and needs a wall to paint, then he's welcome to paint my house.
Eltono in Lima
We've been fans of Eltono's for a long time. We love his latest exhibition in which he brings interactivity into a local gallery in Lima, Peru.
This Wednesday Night: Nuclear Fairy, IRLO and Omar at New York's Romanian cultural institute

While gentrification in New York City and the politics of cleansing tend to erase legendary traces of graffiti that inspired artists all over the world, street art flourishes in Eastern European cities. One of these spots is Romania. New York is lucky to have three artists from this former East Block country visiting to paint the walls of the Romanian cultural institute. These three young artists, Nuclear Fairy, IRLO and Omar work as a collective and independently and will translate their unique cultural view into an installation across three rooms.
Moose's Reverse Graffiti
A while back we had the pleasure of meeting the artist Moose while he was passing through New York. It was Moose who first introduced us to the concept of "Reverse Graffiti'. If you're not familiar, be sure to watch the video above, directed by Doug Pray.
