Nike has designed a new pack of shoes called the Nike Dunk Japan Pack inspired by different cities of Japan.

I'm not sure how many of you guys loves sneakers. Personally I'm not a super sneaker freak but these are so hard to resist (The make want to cry TT_TT).

From left to right:
Tokyo - Giant Panda Dunk, inspired by Ling Ling the Giant Panda. (No, not actually made from Pandas o_o).
Nagoya - Golden Dolphin Dunk, a symbol of the city. (The soles of the shoe is also gold with a picture of the Dolphin/Fish).
Osaka - Doutonbori Dunk, inspired by the city's foods and a famous drumming doll icon that is known to all who visit the city.
Fukuoka - Yamasaka festvial inspired. (The colors are actually mismatched, very attractive).

Humanity's inability to resolve it's differences peacefully has moved seraglia to create this rare and spectacular necklace. Of especial concern is the continued and projected use of nuclear weapons, whether as missile warheads or as depleted uranium in conventional weaponry. It is hoped that this necklace will help spread the message, and also raise funds for the continuing work of CND.

Melissa has been making plastic shoes in Brazil since the 1970's. They have been made to be durable, fashionable, utilitarian and recyclable --- since they're made of plastic, they're all of the above (plus they're cheap!) Chanel will open its second shop in Los Angeles next month on the trendy Robert Boulevard. To commemorate the opening, they will be releasing four limited nail polishes named LA Sunset, Melrose, Rodeo Drive and LA Sunrise. The colours were inspired by the spirit of Robert Boulevard. They will first go on sale at the new shop, and then at chanel.com in June.

New from Max Factor is the Masterpiece Beyond Length mascara. I rarely get excited about this kinda stuff, but this really looks cool. It works in two steps. There’s a dark base layer, and a coloured second layer, which brightens up the lashes a bit. I haven’t been able to test for myself yet, but in the ads they look great. That probably has a bit to do with Photoshop though.. just a bit. The blue and pink looks kinda ridiculous.

Nike will be releasing a new pack for women. The Diamond pack consists of a silver Court Force Low and a gold Court Force Hi. The colourways and use of materials work nicely together. They will be available April 26th at Atmos.

For their 2008 spring collection, Belgian brand, Kipling reeled in Fergie to hock their bags. The Fergie for Kipling series feature a bunch of types of bags all colourful, and bright. The prices are definitely reasonable, but as far as the styles go, well that’s a different story… The items are currently available online.

Ashlee Simpson has given her name to a collection by Wet Seel. Ashlee chose the colours for the tops which will be out April 22nd which coincides with the release of her new album, Bittersweet World. Most of the items will be under $20.

MTV has collaborated with The Body Shop on some guarana lip butter. Proceeds from sales will go to MTV’s Staying Alive foundation, which provides monetary grants to those youths, who initiate their own projects to raise awareness for AIDS and HIV. The name of the new campaign is very cleverly entitled Move Your Lips, which attempts at motivating us to talk more about the virus and its problems. The lip butter is available worldwide at The Body Shop locations.

Boarding For Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation. Their mission is to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of an active lifestyle. Vans shows their support for the foundation by releasing a special edition Boylston. It will come in two colourways, in black and pink and will feature the well known ribbon embroidered on the heel. Proceeds will go to the foundation. The sneakers will release in October, which is national breast cancer month.

We’ve already seen Victoria Beckham in a few ads for Marc Jacobs’ spring campaign. She’s been spread-eagled in an oversize bag, a Batman lookalike, and more. Here we have the latest ad featuring Posh in the fetal position sucking her thumb. Now all the haters can have their field day with this one, which is why I personally think this ad is great. Sheer genius!

Harajuku Lovers has gotten together with Coty and Gwen Stefani on a collection of perfumes. They created a total of five fragrances which are enclosed in small toy-like bottles. The bottles are made in the form of Gwen’s backing vocalists, Love, Angel, Music and Baby. Gwen also provides a description of the singers on the bottles. Naturally, the fifth bottle is of Gwen herself. The perfumes will be available in two different sizes 30 mil ($45) and 10 mil ($25).

Big news today coming out the H&M camp. Rei Kawakubo, founder of Comme des Garconshas agreed to design the fall collection for H&M. It will consist of both men’s and women’s items and there will also be a unisex fragrance. The collection will first release in Tokyo in November, and a few days later at other locations.

Vogue.co.uk revealed the first photos of H&M’s summer ad campaign, which features Daria Werbowy. This was not her first photo for the fashion chain; she was also in the fall ads too. The collection, by the way, is very colourful, the patterns bring to mind tropical climates ranging from Africa, India, Hawaii and South America. Can’t wait to see more.
